Description

Glycine-histidyl-lysine, Copper

Additional Information

GHK-Cu (Glycyl-L-Histidyl-L-Lysine Copper) is a naturally occurring copper-binding peptide found in human plasma, saliva, and urine. It plays a vital role in tissue remodeling, collagen synthesis, and cellular repair. When levels decline with age, skin elasticity and regenerative capacity decrease — supplementing with GHK-Cu helps restore these functions. This peptide enhances fibroblast activity, promotes angiogenesis, and stimulates the synthesis of key extracellular matrix components such as collagen and elastin. Its benefits extend beyond cosmetic applications, also supporting wound repair, reducing inflammation, and strengthening hair follicles.

Benefits:

  • Stimulates collagen and elastin production for firmer skin

  • Promotes hair regrowth and scalp health

  • Accelerates wound healing and tissue regeneration

  • Reduces inflammation and oxidative stress

  • Improves skin tone, texture, and elasticity

  • Supports anti-aging and overall skin rejuvenation

Side Effects:

  • Mild skin irritation or redness at injection site

  • Temporary sensitivity or tingling sensation

  • Rare allergic reaction in sensitive individuals

Dosages & Protocol:
Beginners: 2mg injected subcutaneously once daily
Intermediate: 2mg injected twice daily (morning and evening)
Advanced: 2–4mg injected twice daily or applied topically for targeted repair

PLEASE MAKE USE OF OUR PEPTIDE CALCULATOR FOR FURTHER DOSAGE GUIDANCE.

How to Administer:
Reconstitute GHK-Cu by adding 2–4ml of bacteriostatic water to the lyophilised vial. Gently swirl (do not shake) until fully dissolved. Administer subcutaneously into the lower abdomen, thigh, or area requiring repair using an insulin syringe. Rotate injection sites to prevent irritation. Alternatively, it can be applied topically by mixing the reconstituted solution into a transdermal carrier or serum.

Storage:
Store the lyophilised vial in a cool, dry place away from direct light. Once reconstituted, refrigerate between 2–8°C and use within 30 days.

Half-Life & Detectability:
Half-life: Approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour (biological effects last much longer)
Detection time: Not officially documented due to endogenous presence
For athletes subject to drug testing, it is important to consider these detection times and plan accordingly to avoid positive tests for banned substances.
